Ashley Frawley

Ashley Frawley is Senior Lecturer in Sociology and Social Policy at Swansea University. She is the author of Semiotics of Happiness: Rhetorical Beginnings of a Public Problem and the forthcoming Significant Emotions: Rhetoric and Social Problems in a vulnerable Age, which explores the seemingly never ending rise and fall of emotional fads from self-esteem to well-being. She is a frequent commentator on TV and radio and has been featured in a variety of publications including Standpoint, The Guardian, The Independent, BBC Online, and the International Business Times. She is on the editorial board of Zero Books.
